Preferred candidate profile

Must have experience in Core Java & SQL

Good to have - Unix Shell scripting, Multi-Threading, Spring, Hibernate, Messaging, FIX Protocol

Good to have Interest in AI and new technologies

Good to have - Domain knowledge - Basic Capital Market Securities and Listed Derivatives.

Role & responsibilities

Person will be responsible for suite of software applications used by Derivatives Front and Middle office for trading Listed Futures and Options.

Architect, Design and Develop Java based systems / features in Futures FO/MO domain.
Work primarily in development (CTB) role, along with second line support of existing software systems.
Involve understanding business requirements, implementing and testing the solutions and providing QA support for the application.
Regular interaction (in person, email and over phone) with business/users/vendors and technical stake holders locally and globally for status update, requirement discussions, discussions around solution/approach etc.
Propose and implement strategic/tactical solutions to critical business/technical problems after discussion with senior members of the team
Deliver high quality change within the deadlines
Understand and follow organizational, team level processes and best practices
