As a Senior Software Engineer I at ConnectWise, you will be responsible for developing high-quality, innovative software that complies with coding standards. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure timely delivery of software components such as designs, code, and tests while adhering to industry and organizational standards. Key Responsibilities: - Provide support to Engineering teams with meticulous attention to detail - Conduct research, analysis, and documentation of findings - Design, build, and maintain large-scale production services, web applications, data pipelines, and streaming systems - Collaborate on critical systems essential for the company's operations - Debug production issues across services and stack levels - Contribute to the enhancement of engineering standards, tools, and processes within the organization - Participate in the testing process, including test review, analysis, and software certification - Evaluate code for validity, proper structure, adherence to standards, and compatibility with operating systems - Stay updated on current technologies and programming practices through continuous education and professional engagement Required Skills and Abilities: - Ability to work independently on projects with general supervision - Practical knowledge of the relevant work area - Adaptability to new technologies and processes based on business requirements - Familiarity with various field concepts, practices, and procedures - Capability to work constructively and independently in a fast-paced, multitasking environment - Strong verbal and written communication skills for positive interaction with colleagues and external contacts - Proficiency in programming languages and software fundamentals - Familiarity with relevant software development tools, including version control, build processes, debuggers, and test frameworks Educational and Experience Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent business experience - 6+ years of relevant experience ConnectWise values diversity, inclusivity, and individual contributions.
