Senior Software Engineer C/C++

Key Responsibilities: - Lead development of software applications for grid control and optimization. - Act as a software developer to support other application engineers in system deliveries to customers in Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania. - Design and develop software solutions for GMS/EMS applications, enhancing system functionality and performance. - Collaborate with customers" experts to configure applications to meet their requirements. - Develop workflow integrations between SCADA/EMS/GMS systems and other IT/OT systems. - Create and execute test plans with customers to ensure systems meet contractual requirements. - Provide training to customers on operating EMS/GMS functions. - Resolve technical problems reported by customers in collaboration with the technical team. - Support the proposals and tendering team to submit high-quality bids. - Embrace Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity. Qualifications Required: - More than 5 years of professional experience in software development. - Masters (or higher) degree in energy systems, electrical engineering, or computer science. - Basic understanding of electric power generation and transmission networks. - Experience with GMS/EMS/SCADA systems. - Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and FORTRAN. - Willingness to travel and work at customer locations. - Strong analytical and communication skills in English.
