Senior Software Engineer- C, .Net

As a Senior Software Engineer at Ideagen, you will be a key member of the dynamic Agile development team, contributing to the timely delivery of innovative products. You will be responsible for building high-quality, innovative, and performant SaaS software that complies with coding standards and technical design. Your role will involve working on both back-end .NET and front-end using C# and TypeScript/JavaScript programming languages. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design & deliver new features and maintain & improve current features across the platform. - Collaborate with Software Engineering Managers, Team Leaders, and other Engineers to build well-architected solutions. - Work closely with Product Managers, Technical Product Owners, and Infrastructure Engineers to ensure high-quality feature delivery. - Collaborate with the UX & Design Team to create an optimal user experience. - Ensure timely delivery of products according to the roadmap and release cycles. - Work within an Agile software engineering team using the Scrum framework. - Contribute to defining and developing a work backlog to meet Product team objectives. - Diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix software defects. - Provide unit tests to support and validate development work. - Mentor and coach other engineering team members to help grow their technical skillsets. **Qualifications Required:** - 7+ years of professional software development experience with at least 5 years in C#. - Experience in web-based software development using C#, .NET, TypeScript/JavaScript, and HTML + CSS. React experience is a plus. - Experience with cloud-native technologies such as app services, functions, containers, microservices, and APIs, ideally on Azure. - Proficiency in delivering DevOps solutions, continuous integration, and continuous delivery using Azure DevOps, Octopus, Docker, and Kubernetes. - Good knowledge of Git and code review practices. - Familiarity with cyber security practices, relational database development, and Agile methodologies. - Ability to advise on best practices and excellent communication skills in English. **About Ideagen:** Ideagen is the invisible force behind critical systems worldwide, ensuring safety in various industries.
