The Role We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting the development of next-generation tools for SCADA and database conversion systems in Digital Grid Management.
Your Impact
Design, develop, and maintain custom applications and scripts purpose-built to automate repetitive work, map/convert between data structures and optimize processes .
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows to support development and deployment.
Develop and optimize web-based interfaces using modern front-end technologies.
Parse and process various data formats (JSON, XML, CSV, text for visualization and analysis.
Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and scalability of applications.
Create technical documentation, flowcharts, and infographics to support internal and external stakeholders.
Continuously improve system reliability, monitoring, and automation.
What Youll Need
Education:
Bachelor s Degree in Software Engineering , Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Experience:
3 + years of experience with object-oriented programming (e.g., Python, Java, C++, C#).
5 + years of experience with web-based programming (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
Proven experience with data parsing and transformation (XML, JSON, CSV, text .
Experience in user interface design and adapting to user feedback.
Experience with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Docker, Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipelines).
Skills:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
Excellent time management and ability to work independently.
Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in technical communication, including flowcharts and visual documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SCADA systems or industrial automation platforms.
Familiarity with data visualization libraries .
Understanding of performance optimization techniques for large-scale data systems .
Familiarity with Power Systems.
