Senior Software Development Engineer - Back - End Development

Role Overview: The Freecharge DBAT (Digital Business and Transformation) team, a collaboration between FreeCharge and Axis Bank, is dedicated to driving digital transformation primarily at Axis Bank and its subsidiaries. The team focuses on enhancing various products offered by Axis Bank, such as Commercial Loan, Digital CASA acquisition, Investment products, SME, Equity, Trade Finance, KYC, and more. By combining banking expertise with fintech innovation, the team aims to become the leading Neo bank in India. Key Responsibilities: - Be an integral member in the development and deployment efforts for enterprise application projects to solve complex business problems. - Write idempotent, testable, debuggable, intelligible, and documentable code and test cases using appropriate technologies like JavaScript or any other programming language. - Collaborate with Developers, Program Managers, Testers, and Production Support engineers in an agile development environment. - Improve systems by integrating existing solutions and building new technology. Qualifications Required: - Strong proficiency with JavaScript. - Proven experience with Node. JS and Express. - Experience building API using Node JS. - Proficiency working with RDMS and NoSQL databases. - Familiarity with event-driven and Microservices architectures; Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming. - Experience with implementing run-time architecture services (caching, logging, etc.). - Collaborative team member with experience managing team members. - Experience with Test Driven Development and Domain Driven Design is a plus. - Familiarity with Containers such as Docker, Kubernetes is a plus. - Experience working in AWS Cloud Environment is a bonus.
