Senior Software Developer - PHP For MNC(Third Party Payroll)- Gurgaon

This Position is on Third Party Payroll

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of software solutions using PHP.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code adhering to best practices.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency across the team.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Participate in system architecture and design discussions.
• Ensure software security and compliance standards are met.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and workflows.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate innovative solutions.

Knowledge and Abilities

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in development of software (Preferred Networking Domain)

• Proven experience as a Senior Developer or similar role with strong expertise in PHP.

• Solid understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure etc.).
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL).
• Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of security best practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines will be an added advantage
• Experience with React will be added advantage

Education, qualifications, certifications and experience

• Bachelors / masters degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
• Proven experience (typically 7+ years) in software development with strong expertise in Go, PHP/Java.
• Demonstrated ability to design and develop scalable, high performance applications.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
