Senior Software Developer (.NET & Azure)

Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to support the migration of a large-scale application from ColdFusion to .NET . The role demands strong expertise in .NET Core, Azure PaaS, ReactJS , and modern software development practices. Candidates with large-scale modernization and cloud-native application experience are preferred. Work Mode: Remote work Laptop collection from office (travel/accommodation not provided) In-office presence required once every 6 months for 5 days (based on project need) Must be available until 10:30 PM IST to align with Pacific Time Zone during project initiation. Mandatory Skill Set: .NET Core, .NET Framework (4.8.1), ASP.NET Core/MVC, Web API, C# Azure PaaS Services : Function Apps, Service Bus, Blob Storage, Key Vault, Container Apps Frontend : ReactJS, TypeScript, Redux/MobX/Recoil, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6), JSX Database : SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Entity Framework, Dapper DevOps : Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, GIT version control Testing : Unit Testing & Mocking Frameworks Architectural Knowledge : MVC, SOLID, OOP Concepts, Secure Development Practices Authentication : OIDC, OAuth2 Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and unit-test modernized applications Collaborate with onshore teams and stakeholders Fix bugs, deliver modules on time, and demo to clients Follow established development and deployment processes Contribute to large-scale application refactoring and modernization Good to Have: Experience with .NET 8.0 , AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) Azure Developer Certification preferred
