Senior Software Developer - Full Stack Mobile & Voice Assistant Dev

Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Mobile Application Development
• Design and develop native and cross platform mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
• Implement responsive UI/UX and ensure high performance and scalability.
• Apply SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, and MVVM/MVC patterns for maintainable and testable code.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services as needed.
• Backend Development
• Architect and implement backend services using AWS best practices (e.g., serverless architecture with Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB).
• Design secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud solutions following Well-Architected Framework.
• Implement microservices architecture and API-first design for modularity and reusability.
• Voice Assistant Development
• Build Alexa Skills and Google Home Assistant using robust conversational design principles.
• Optimize voice interaction models for natural language understanding and context-aware responses.
• Ensure compliance with platform guidelines and security standards.
• Software Engineering Best Practices
• Drive code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and automated UI testing.
• Conduct peer code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Maintain documentation for architecture, APIs, and deployment processes.
• DevOps & CI/CD
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes for mobile and backend services.
• Monitor application performance and reliability using CloudWatch, New Relic, or similar tools.
• Security & Compliance
• Apply secure coding practices, data encryption, and identity management using AWS IAM.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, privacy regulations, and industry security standards.
• Leadership & Collaboration
• Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies in mobile, cloud, and voice ecosystems.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education:

  bachelors or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

• Experience:

  7+ years in software development with a focus on mobile and cloud-based applications.

• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Swift, Kotlin, and/or React Native for mobile development.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, RDBMS, S3, IAM).
• Experience with Node.js, Python, or Java for backend development.
• Hands-on experience in developing Alexa Skills and Google Home Assistant.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and OAuth 2.0
• Voice Testing Tools (e.g., Alexa Simulator, Google Assistant Simulator)
• Knowledge of certification guidelines for publishing skills/actions

• Other Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
