Job Summary:Haris and Co is seeking an experienced and highly creative Senior Social Media Scriptwriter & Copywriter with 2-6 years of experience to lead the storytelling and messaging efforts for our social media platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting impactful scripts, developing innovative copy, and setting a high standard for content excellence. You will also mentor junior writers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging campaigns.

Responsibilities:

• Write and oversee the development of engaging, high-quality scripts for social media videos, reels, and ad campaigns.
• Create compelling, platform-specific copy, including captions, taglines, and content for Meta, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, and LinkedIn.
• Lead brainstorming sessions to conceptualize creative storytelling ideas and campaign messaging.
• Ensure that all written content aligns with the brand’s tone, voice, and strategic objectives.
• Collaborate closely with production, design, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive content delivery.
• Stay informed about social media trends, viral content formats, and emerging best practices.
• Mentor and guide junior copywriters to enhance team performance and creative output.
• Review and approve content to maintain quality and consistency.

Qualifications:

• 2-6 years of proven experience in scriptwriting and copywriting, with a focus on social media platforms.
• Exceptional storytelling, writing, and editing skills.
• Strong understanding of audience behavior across various social media platforms.
• Proven ability to conceptualize and execute creative campaigns.
• Excellent collaboration and leadership skills.
• Ability to multitask and deliver quality work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in leading copy teams in a creative agency or marketing environment.
• Familiarity with data-driven content strategies and SEO for social media.
• Knowledge of pop culture trends, meme formats, and viral marketing techniques.
• Strong attention to detail with a passion for creativity and innovation.
