Senior Site Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage construction activities from project initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to approved plans, specifications, drawings, and statutory requirements.
• Ensure project execution is carried out as per defined quality benchmarks, design intent, and approved timelines across all aspects of the project.
• Analyse, interpret, and implement engineering drawings, architectural plans, survey reports, aerial photography, blueprints, and technical documentation to guide construction activities.
• Coordinate initially with Project Architect and consultants with favourable inputs related to design and execution as a whole.
• Coordinate closely with the Project Architect to resolve design-related issues, site constraints, and execution challenges in a timely manner.
• Plan, allocate, and manage resources including manpower, materials, machinery, and equipment to optimise project efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor project progress, milestones, and potential risks, and provide regular updates and reports to the Project Manager and key stakeholders.
• Control and monitor project costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure execution within approved budgets.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality progress, safety compliance, and adherence to engineering and design requirements.
• Oversee and manage contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Coordinate procurement, delivery, and storage of construction materials, ensuring compliance with approved specifications and industry standards.
• Identify potential construction, design, or execution risks and implement preventive and corrective measures to minimise delays, cost overruns, and safety hazards.
• Provide technical guidance and on-site expertise to resolve construction-related challenges and improve execution efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, local regulations, and site safety norms.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily progress reports, site diaries, inspection reports, change orders, and quality control records.
