Primary Purpose: To monitor and supervise the project execution process on site to ensure completion of the job within specified time frames, in an organized and cost-effective manner, in accordance with the approved design and quality standards so as to meet customers satisfaction and maintain continuity of business. Key Activities (Critical activities of the job) 1. Examine the drawings, assess the material requirements, approve and submit the material requisition accurately so as to facilitate purchase of appropriate quantities of materials. 2. Examine the project program and based on the schedules mentioned, assess the material and manpower requirement for the job. 3. Prepare and forward the requisition of sub-contractors required for different jobs to the GM/DGM construction for approval. 4. Work closely with Sr. Engineers and site supervisors to get work executed in timely manner. 5. Monitor progress against the project plan and keep the GM/DGM construction apprised on the progress to ensure that a quick corrective action can be taken where required. 6. Conduct quality checks on works carried out to ensure that the project meets all specifications. 7. Coordinate with the municipality agencies during spot checks on the site and ensure adherence to Quality, Health and Safety regulations on all assigned sites. 8. Supervise the site regularly; attend to all technical and engineering problems, additional manpower requirements, drawing changes, etc. in an effective and timely manner thereby achieving project requirements and quality standards. 9. Be an active participant in finalisation of contractors and worker staff. 10. Ensure that timely delivery and of the required construction material takes place regularly at the site. 11. Maintain cost estimates of highlight snags or estimated spill overs if any. 12. Work towards getting the required budget approvals from GM/DGM Construction. 13. Regularly closing ongoing snags at the project level keeping the GM/DGM Construction duly informed via a compilation and closure snag list. Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. Prior Experience: Minimum 10-12 years of extensive experience in the management of construction projects. Expected Competencies/Personality Attributes: Commitment to working in a collaborative, team environment. Must have extensive know how on all site operations and Site Managerial Skills Excellent leadership skills. Should be resourceful enough to get the work done from people.

Legal advisory responsibilities 1. Provide expert advice to internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the management and resolution of a diverse range of legal, regulatory and compliance matters. 2. Advise on civil/criminal matters that should be directed to external counsel, liaise with and assist external counsel to pursue civil/criminal matters. 3. Research, analyse and interpret complex policies, legal and regulatory issues, to prepare high quality and articulate submissions, reviews and recommendations. 4. Provide expert knowledge that adds value to decision makers to enhance the decision-making process and improve the efficacy of the activities of the Organization. 5. Lead and monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of the legal departments service on time for day to day operations. 6. To ensure policy, legal and regulatory compliance is met with and that risk is identified, minimized and managed. 7. Proactively assess and respond to the impact of changes in the operating environment on relevant legislation, legal, policy and regulatory frameworks applicable to the Organization. Legal implementation responsibilities 1. Take instructions/directions from Legal Head before commencing/initiating any work received from other departments of the Organization. 2. Initiate and pursue legal proceedings as required by the Organization i.e. prepare writs, defences, submissions and other pleadings in civil/criminal cases both for and against” the Organization. 3. Carry out legal research and analysis, identifying important issues and apprising the Organization of emerging legal trends from court decision and tendering advice to avoid unwarranted litigation matters. 4. Draft and/or review legal letters, contracts and agreements. 5. Monitor legal obligations under contracts and agreements to ensure compliance. 6. Maintain database of the status of all court matters involving the Organization. 7. Assist in the formulation, implementation and/or amendment of policies of Organization. Liaison responsibility 1. Work closely with Business Development Team to de-risk the land/real estate acquisition process by: 2. Acquisition of property/project - Legal due diligence of property. 3. Attend meetings with property owners/developers/Member of the Societies. 4. Issue public notice for inviting claims of third party who may have claims on property which Organization intends to purchase/develop. 5. To issue Title Certificate for the property/project and further to prepare all documentations required to complete the said acquisition. 6. Assist CRM Team to handle customer complaints/queries and maintain great customer service experience. 7. Be an active member in the discussions for making strategies for large scale acquisition. 8. Work with accounts department for processing of various Fee Bills of external advocates/counsels/solicitors/ search clerks and settlements. Knowledge upgrade : 1.
