Senior Site Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for setting out works in accordance with the drawings and specifications provided. Your role will involve liaising with the planning engineer to ensure alignment with construction programmes. It will also be your responsibility to check materials and work in progress for compliance with specified requirements, ensuring the work-front for labours is maintained. Observing safety requirements for the activities being executed is crucial, along with resolving technical issues on site. Additionally, you will act as a representative of NorthernSky Management when liaising about different issues with vendors and suppliers. Key Responsibilities: - Strictly adhere to the Method statement and follow all quality procedures needed for the activity - Perform timely checks to ensure activities completed are as per the specifications - Liaise with the Management or the Purchase department to ensure Purchase Orders raised adequately define specified requirements - Supervise and train junior or trainee engineers - Assist the quantity surveyor in the measurement of quantities of different items of work - Record the daily progress on site in the daily progress report format kept at the site office Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in a similar role - Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications - Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures - Ability to resolve technical issues on site effectively - Excellent communication skills for liaising with various stakeholders - Supervisory experience is a plus Please note: This job is a full-time position with benefits including health insurance and Provident Fund.
