Senior Security Analyst

Role Overview: As a Senior Security Specialist at SAP Enterprise Cloud Services, you will be responsible for Security Incident Response. You will play a crucial role in responding to security incidents escalated from various sources, analyzing complex security events, and implementing industry best practices to ensure the security of customer and company applications, data, and systems. Your ability to creatively solve problems, adapt to evolving cybersecurity threats, and collaborate with different teams will be key to your success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Investigate security events and incidents - Communicate and escalate incidents following Triage guidelines - Directly engage with stakeholders during high severity events - Hunt for suspicious anomalous activity using data alerts and outputs from various toolsets - Analyze log files, asset data, and other threat information - Participate actively in containing events, even after escalation - Handle end-to-end customer escalations around security - Ensure implementation and execution of security strategy and policy - Identify opportunities for information security and privacy improvements and drive related projects - Collaborate with stakeholders to define security requirements and processes Qualifications Required: - Strong technological and security background - Creative problem-solving skills - Quick learner capable of adapting to evolving cybersecurity attack landscape - Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders - Experience with incident response and security operations - Understanding of security strategy, policy, and best practices Additional Details: SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) is responsible for delivering RISE with SAP to customers, providing a private cloud platform, infrastructure, and managed services for the Intelligent Enterprise.
