Job Description

Design, develop, and maintain performance test scripts using K6 and K6 Cloud for APIs and web applications.
Define performance KPIs (latency, throughput, error rate, percentile metrics) and establish SLA/SLO baselines.
Integrate K6 tests with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps).
Conduct load, stress, soak, and scalability tests, analyze results, and identify performance bottlenecks.
Use observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, or Datadog) to correlate test metrics with infrastructure performance.
Collaborate with development and architecture teams to optimize application and API performance.
Provide performance tuning recommendations across code, configuration, and infrastructure layers.
Prepare and present comprehensive performance reports and improvement plans.

Required Skills & Experience:

6+ years of overall QA/SDET experience with 2+ years in performance testing.
Hands-on expertise in K6 scripting using JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience with K6 Cloud and integrating with CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed architectures.
Experience analyzing system performance using APM and monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, Datadog).
Familiarity with AWS/Azure cloud environments and containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes).
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

Exposure to Node.js or Go-based systems.
Experience in automation frameworks (Playwright or Selenium).
Knowledge of performance profiling tools and CI/CD test orchestration
