Job Description

Senior Scientific Editor

You will be responsible for:

Editing of promotional material content of global pharmaceutical clients by checking language, grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency of language (tense), and adherence to brand style/client guidelines for promotional materials

Perform proofreadingreviewing a material to ensure no additional text has been inadvertently added or deleted by the agency, ensuring all comments placed by the MLR reviewers are implemented in the final compliance copy, proofreading the ISI against the approved version

Format documents based on journal/congress guidelines

Ensure that the document adheres to specified style guides - AMA Manual of Style/brand style/Client Guidelines

Consistently deliver a high-quality edit, exceeding client expectations every time

Contribute to team initiatives like knowledge sharing exercises and documentation of resources

Demonstrate skills related to effective client communication, both written and verbal. When required, actively participate inlead team meetings to discuss resolutions on complicated reviews; work towards providing suitable options for resolutions on issues and discuss approaches suggested by peers and other leads

Actively participate in client calls along with review lead and work with other internal stakeholders for smooth project execution

Execute best practices in the team regarding processes, communication (internal and external), documentation and technical requirements

Schedule work to team

Review jobs worked by the team and ensure the document is error free

Guide and provide feedback to team members

Convey client requirements in terms of the information flow and scope changes

Ensure that the entire team follows best practices regarding processes, communication (internal and external), documentation,

Use existing assets and capabilities to develop training material and train the team

Responsible to develop technical training programmes for other team members relevant to the job

Responsible to develop skills related to reviewing Promotional Materials

Contribute in various continuous improvement initiatives or company-driven initiatives and help team members participate based on their competencies

Your impact:

About you:

A Bachelor's/Master's degree in life science / English

Excellent written and spoken English skills (TOEFL/IELTS score is preferred)

A keen eye for detail

Functional knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat

Demonstrated ability to work with tight timelines and a collaborative environment

Must have:

Excellent written and spoken English skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat

Familiarity with AMA Manual of Style and client-specific style guides

Ability to work under tight timelines and in a collaborative team environment

Proven track record of delivering high-quality, error-free documents

Experience in client-facing roles or participating in client calls

Experience in developing training materials and conducting training sessions

Ability to contribute to knowledge-sharing and documentation efforts
