Role & responsibilities

SAP MM Implementation

• Lead end-to-end implementation of the SAP Materials Management (MM) module, including requirement gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, and Go-Live.
  
• Ensure alignment of implemented solutions with business requirements and project timelines.
  

2. Configuration and Customization

• Configure SAP MM settings across procurement, inventory management, materials valuation, and vendor management.
  
• Perform necessary customizations to meet business needs while ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
  

3. Integration with Other Modules

• Collaborate with SAP SD, WM, PP, and FICO teams to ensure smooth integration and consistency across SAP modules.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve cross-functional integration issues.
  

4. Business Process Improvement

• Analyze and review current MM processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  
• Recommend solutions that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and support business goals.
  

5. Support and Troubleshooting

• Provide day-to-day support for users, handling queries and resolving SAP MM-related incidents or tickets.
  
• Diagnose configuration issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
  

6. Training and Documentation

• Conduct user training sessions to enhance understanding and usage of SAP MM functionalities.
  
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process flows, configuration documents, and training materials.
  

7. System Testing

• Lead testing efforts such as unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  
• Coordinate with users and stakeholders to validate system functionality.
  

8. Change Management

• Support organizational change management initiatives during implementation or enhancements.
  
• Assist stakeholders in transitioning to new systems, processes, and upgrades.
  

9. Upgrades and Enhancements

• Participate in SAP system upgrades and enhancement projects.
  
• Evaluate new features and ensure alignment with business requirements before deployment.
  

Preferred candidate profile

Experience & Functional Expertise

• Minimum

  5+ years of hands-on experience

  as an SAP MM Consultant.
• Must have worked on

  at least 2 full-cycle SAP MM implementations

  .
• Strong knowledge of SAP MM functionalities including:
  
• Procurement Processes (PO, RFQ, PR, Contracts)
  
• Inventory Management
  
• Invoice Verification
  
• Vendor Master & Material Master
  
• Material Valuation
  

Integration Skills

• Proven experience integrating SAP MM with SAP SD, PP, WM, and FICO modules.
  
• Ability to troubleshoot cross-functional issues effectively.
  

Technical & Analytical Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Ability to convert complex business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
  
• Proficiency in identifying and resolving configuration and user-related issues.
