Senior - SAP HANA

Job Summary:

You will lead the design, development, and optimization of high-performance SAP HANA solutions to support enterprise-grade SAP S/4HANA implementations. You will drive technical excellence, ensure database efficiency, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and intelligent data-driven applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end design and implementation of SAP HANA models, CDS views, and database artifacts aligned with business requirements.
  
• Optimize data models and performance for SAP HANA systems, ensuring efficient query execution and memory management.
  
• Architect and develop complex HANA solutions, including native HANA applications, calculation views, and stored procedures.
  
• Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, architects, and analytics teams to integrate HANA models with S/4HANA and analytical tools.
  
• Oversee data migration, replication, and integration using SAP tools such as SLT, SDI, and SDA.
  
• Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis of SAP HANA-based applications.
  
• Implement data security, access controls, and governance within HANA environments.
  
• Stay updated with the latest SAP HANA innovations, tools, and best practices, driving their adoption within the team.
  
• Support pre-sales, solutioning, and client workshops related to HANA architecture and performance optimization.
  

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  
• 5 - 8 years of experience in SAP development, with strong expertise in SAP HANA modeling, SQL Script, and database performance optimization.
  
• Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, in-memory computing concepts, and data modeling best practices.
  
• Proficiency in CDS views, OData services, and integration of HANA models with SAP applications.
  
• Experience with SAP HANA administration, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting tools.
  
• Knowledge of SAP BTP and cloud-based HANA deployments is a plus.
  
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Relevant SAP certifications, such as SAP Certified Technology Specialist SAP HANA or SAP Certified Development Specialist ABAP for SAP HANA, preferred.
  

Preferred:

• Experience in data provisioning, replication, and HANA-based analytics (e.g., integration with SAC, BW/4HANA).
  
• Exposure to SAP Cloud Platform, HANA Cloud, and multi-cloud deployment strategies.
  
• Prior consulting experience with a Big Four or global professional services firm.
