Senior SAP Basis Consultant

You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining various SAP systems such as ECC, S/4HANA, BW, and CRM. Your duties will include performing SAP upgrades, patches, and kernel updates, as well as monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues. Additionally, you will be tasked with carrying out SAP client copies, system refreshes, and database administration, managing SAP transports, and executing system backups. It will be essential to implement and maintain SAP security and user administration, collaborate with functional and development teams for integration, ensure system availability, and plan for disaster recovery. Providing technical support for SAP projects and go-live activities, documenting procedures, and facilitating knowledge transfer to internal teams will also be part of your role. The ideal candidate should possess 7 to 10 years of experience in SAP Basis administration, with a strong understanding of SAP NetWeaver architecture and components. Hands-on experience in SAP installations, upgrades, and migrations is crucial, along with expertise in Linux OS environments and familiarity with SAP HANA, Oracle, or relevant databases. Proficiency in SAP landscape management tools, especially SAP Solution Manager, is required. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is considered a plus. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent communication, and teamwork abilities are essential for this role.
