Senior Resident General Medicine

Job Description: As a healthcare professional in this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This includes diagnosing and treating patients with various medical conditions by conducting physical examinations, taking medical histories, and developing treatment plans. Additionally, you will oversee and mentor junior residents, interns, and medical students, offering guidance on patient care and clinical procedures. Your role will also involve managing medical emergencies, providing critical care support, and performing or assisting with clinical procedures such as lumbar punctures, thoracentesis, and wound care. Key Responsibilities: - Diagnosing and treating patients with diverse medical conditions - Overseeing and mentoring junior residents, interns, and medical students - Managing medical emergencies and providing critical care support - Performing or assisting with clinical procedures - Maintaining accurate patient records and communicating effectively with patients and healthcare professionals - Participating in clinical rounds, conferences, teaching activities, and research projects - Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and completing administrative tasks as assigned Qualifications Required: - Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or equivalent - Completion of a residency program in Internal Medicine or General Medicine - Strong clinical skills in diagnosis, treatment, and management of medical conditions - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills - Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Commitment to patient safety and quality care - Proficiency in medical procedures and documentation - Experience in teaching and mentoring junior staff,
