Senior Resident (Anaesthesia)

As a Senior Resident in Anaesthesia, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive medical care to patients admitted to the facility. Your responsibilities will include writing detailed patient histories, conducting physical examinations as per the physician's instructions, and presenting patient cases during rounds with clarity and understanding. You will be tasked with writing admission notes that outline the care plan and educational strategies for each patient, as well as initiating discharge planning when necessary. Your role will involve overseeing the total care of allocated patients, which includes daily examinations, patient education, note-taking, and arranging consultations as needed. Additionally, you will be responsible for keeping the senior resident informed about any changes in patient status and ensuring timely communication and documentation with patients and their families before surgical procedures. Minor procedures within your training level, supervision of patient care with nursing staff, and post-operative patient management are also essential aspects of your duties. In emergency situations, you will be expected to perform necessary procedures, including resuscitation, and adhere to hospital policies, especially those related to health and safety. This position requires full-time commitment on a permanent basis.
