Senior Research / Lead Analyst

Role Overview: As a member of the equity research team of an asset manager, your main role will involve supporting the CIO and Portfolio managers at the client end by providing highly integrated research support. You will be responsible for analyzing and sharing insights on the sector and companies being tracked, working on companies across various sectors and geographies, and handling bespoke research tasks such as preparing event updates, analyzing IPOs/corporate actions, and maintaining sector databases. Building and maintaining financial models for active and new positions will be a key aspect of your responsibilities, requiring a very strong background in financial modeling. Additionally, you will be expected to synthesize sell-side research recommendations and consensus views, prepare questions for company management, coordinate with sell-side brokers, and regularly interact with brokers and company management. Supporting in thematic bottom-up research in stock selection and preparing investment notes based on analysis to provide clients with actionable insights will also be part of your duties.
