Key Roles & Responsibilities
Clinical & Diagnostic Support Assist in gross examination and processing of surgical pathology and biopsy specimens.
Perform initial slide screening for histopathologycytologyFNACand pap Smears under supervision.
Assist in frozen section reporting and IHC preparation/interpretation with guidance from senior consultants.
Independent reporting of Gynae cytology (PAP smear)
Ensure proper documentation and sample tracking.
Quality & Compliance
Follow departmental SOPs and ensure compliance with NABLCAPNABHand JCI standards.
Maintain accuracy in labelingreporting draftsand documentation.
Support quality control measures in sample handling and reporting.
Academic & Learning
Participate actively in teaching programsjournal clubscase discussionsand academic meetings.
Contribute to departmental auditsresearch projectsand publications under guidance.
Atend CMEsworkshopsand conferences to enhance pro fessional knowledge.
Collaboration &Teamwork Work closely with consultantstechnical staffand clinicians to ensure smooth workflow.
Provide diagnostic assistance in multidisciplinary tumor boards and clinical meetings when assigned.
Patient Safety & Ethics Ensure strict confidentiality of patient data and diagnostic findings.
