Senior Radiologist Qatar

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the interpretation of advanced imaging studies including MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds
• Provide expert consultations and communicate diagnostically relevant information to referring physicians
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case reviews to discuss patient care strategies
• Supervise and mentor junior radiologists and radiology staff, fostering their professional development
• Contribute to quality assurance initiatives and promote best practices in radiology
• Engage in ongoing education and training, staying updated with the latest advancements in medical imaging
  

Requirements

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Radiology
• A current and active medical license to practice in Qatar
• Minimum of 7 years of clinical radiology experience with demonstrated expertise in diagnostic imaging
• Strong skills in the interpretation of diverse imaging modalities and techniques
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for effective collaboration with medical staff
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior colleagues
• Commitment to continuous professional development and participation in relevant educational opportunities
• A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
