Senior Quality Engineering Lead

Position Overview:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Testing Strategy and Planning
• Develop and implement comprehensive end-to-end testing strategies for Surest and USP integrations
• Collaborate with project managers, business leads, and IT teams to define testing scope, objectives, and timelines
• Demonstrate mastery in at least one automation tool and scripting language (Java, Python, etc.), and contribute reusable utilities to the test framework
• Ensure alignment of testing activities with project requirements and timelines
• Automation Strategy 
• Define and evolve automation strategies aligned with application goals
• API & UI Testing 
• Automate both UI and API testing (SOAP and REST services), ensuring coverage and fast feedback cycles
• Provide regular updates on testing progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders
• Work with development teams to ensure timely resolution of defects and retesting
• Team Leadership and Coordination
• Lead and mentor a team of testers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality testing
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Qualifications -

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Technical Proficiency
• 10+ years in test automation or development/testing hybrid roles
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub), Eclipse/IntelliJ, and Git
• Familiarity with service virtualization tools like DevTest
• Familiarity with AWS
• Good knowledge of working with SQL queries
• Methodologies
• Experience in Agile and Scrum
• Experience in ATDD and TDD practices
