Senior QA

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and functional requirements.
• Perform thorough

  manual testing of web applications

  , focusing on functionality, usability, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Validate that new and existing features meet customer needs and business goals.
• Identify, log, and track defects through to resolution, ensuring timely closure.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues.
• Participate in requirement reviews, design reviews, and other project meetings to provide input on potential quality risks.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining test environments and test data.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Explore opportunities to incorporate automation testing into existing processes (if applicable).

Preferred candidate profile:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in software quality assurance.

• Proven expertise in

  manual testing of websites and web applications.

• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect management processes.
• Experience in

  eCommerce or Order Management System (OMS) domains

  is highly preferred.
• ISTQB Certification is an added advantage but

  not mandatory.

• Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools such as Asana or similar.
• Basic knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium equivalent is a plus

  but not mandatory.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
