Senior QA Engineer

As a Senior QA Engineer at Sevilla Case, your role involves ensuring testing strategies, plans, and deliverables are executed for all applications and programs within your domain. Your responsibilities include: - Designing and conducting testing procedures and frameworks to verify software and technical products for expected functional performance - Investigating instances where software and technical products do not perform as expected - Designing and conducting quality assurance practices to support business development activities - Driving the adoption of recognized best practices and policies to improve methodologies and assets - Collaborating with counterparts across the business to elevate the standard of QA - Recording defects, collating metrics, and KPI information for reporting purposes - Testing disciplines include Performance Testing, Test Automation, Test Processes, and Testing Products In this role, you will be accountable for overall test delivery covering all activities within Cards sub-domain (Programme test management). Your key responsibilities include: - Developing testing strategies, plans, and deliverables related to sub-domain applications - Analyzing requirements, maintaining test cases, developing test automation features, and testing software - Creating test cases, developing test automation features, and executing test activities on different test environments - Developing high-quality and largely automated test solutions meeting functional and non-functional requirements - Participating in sprint activities and ceremonies, collaborating with team members to achieve sprint objectives, and preparing testing reports Your skills and experience should include: - Strong experience in SQL - Hands-on experience with ETL tools like Informatica - Understanding of data quality and reconciliation techniques - Knowledge of test strategies, test infrastructure set up, test data management, and overall test management - Experience in requirements analysis, test case creation, and test execution using various tools - Pro-active team player with good communication skills and English language proficiency - Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM environment, agile tooling, methodology, and knowledge of cards - Bachelor's degree in IT or data evaluation or equivalent professional experience - Experience in JAVA, Selenium, and Rest Assured tool The company offers a range of benefits, including training and development, coaching and support, and a culture of continuous learning to aid progression.
