Senior QA Engineer (Automation)

As a Senior QA Engineer (Automation) at Procore's QA Engineering Team in India, your role will involve designing and executing software testing plans for various customer-facing and internal applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include: - Working with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to verify that the implemented software meets business requirements - Designing and executing test cases, both manual and automation, to enhance software quality - Suggesting functionality improvements based on usability standards - Reviewing requirements documents for consistency, completeness, and correctness - Conducting post-release/post-implementation testing To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with: - 5+ years of experience in software test engineering or equivalent role - Demonstrable critical thinking skills and self-driven problem-solving abilities - Thorough understanding of software testing methodologies, QA tools, and Agile principles - Experience in developing test automation frameworks, particularly in Cypress and JavaScript - Proficiency in building automation scripts, debugging, execution, and results analysis - Analytical skills to comprehend requirements, application user interfaces, and contents - Knowledge and experience in various test levels such as system integration, performance, regression, and user acceptance - Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously with excellent troubleshooting skills - Experience in API testing and exposure to Test Driven Development is a plus Additionally, at Procore, we invest in our employees by offering a full range of benefits and perks to support your growth and development.
