Senior QA Engineer (Automation)

As a Senior QA Tester with 4-6 years of experience, you will be responsible for independently performing end-to-end manual and automation testing across multiple projects. You will take full ownership of project testing to ensure high-quality deliverables. Your key responsibilities will include developing, reviewing, and executing test cases, test plans, and test scripts. Additionally, you will implement automation frameworks and scripts to enhance testing efficiency. You will be required to conduct various types of testing such as functional, regression, integration, usability, performance, and AI-based testing. It will be essential for you to identify, document, and track bugs and defects using bug-tracking tools. API testing using tools like Postman will be a part of your daily tasks, along with validating system integrations. Utilizing AI-driven testing methodologies to improve test coverage and accuracy will be crucial in this role. Collaboration with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand project requirements and resolve issues will be necessary. Ensuring compliance with quality standards and best testing practices is vital. Providing detailed reports on test results, defects, and recommendations for improvement will also be part of your responsibilities. To be successful in this role, you should have 4+ years of experience in software testing, including both manual and automation testing. A strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and the defect life cycle is required. Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, along with experience in testing web and mobile applications, is essential. Good knowledge of API testing, preferably using tools like Postman, REST, or SOAP UI, is expected. Experience with AI-driven testing frameworks would be a plus.
