Senior QA Engineer (Automation)

Role Overview: As a Senior QA Engineer (Automation) at IDIQ, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions that serve the needs of our members. You will be responsible for creating and enhancing automated test scripts, implementing QA processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project success. Key Responsibilities: - Create and enhance automated test scripts to improve test efficiency. - Ensure the delivery of high-quality software. - Develop and implement QA processes and methodologies. - Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive manual test plans. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements. - Conduct thorough root cause analysis for identified defects and issues. - Review and analyze system specifications to ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Coordinate testing efforts for multiple projects simultaneously. - Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into QA processes. - Provide regular status updates and reports on QA activities to stakeholders. - Work with Test management tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or other company-owned tools. - Possess knowledge of Automation Framework and SQL for writing queries. - Experience in Web automation, Mobile automation, and Manual testing preferred. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. - In-depth knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies. - Strong proficiency in test management tools and automated testing frameworks. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks. - Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Additional Details: This is a full-time exempt position at IDIQ, offering a salary range of INR 14 Lakhs to 20 Lakhs per annum. The work location is in Chennai with a hybrid work setup. The work hours are Monday through Friday, 9:30 am to 6:00 pm IST. You will operate in a professional office environment with varying noise levels and stress levels.,
