Senior QA Engineer-Automation

Role & responsibilities

• Strong understanding of enterprise applications, business processes, and workflows
• Experience in API and UI test automation using Selenium, TestComplete, or similar tools
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI
• Strong database skills, ability to write SQL queries, and perform data validation
• Experience in writing and executing data quality checks to ensure data integrity
• Familiarity with test case management tools (JIRA, TestRail) and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of performance and security testing principles
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus

Preferred candidate profile

• Perform end-to-end testing of enterprise applications, ensuring process and workflow accuracy
• Develop and execute automated API and UI test scripts using industry-standard tools
• Design and implement data validation tests to verify data consistency across systems and databases
• Conduct exploratory, functional, regression, and integration testing
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and test scenarios
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with the development team for resolution
• Implement and maintain automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines
• Monitor test execution, generate reports, and ensure test coverage across application modules
• Continuously improve test strategies, automation frameworks, and best practices
• Stay updated with new testing tools and methodologies to enhance QA processes
