Senior QA Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer in Test at Abacus Insights, you will play a key role in providing direction and leadership on the test automation strategy and processes. Your responsibilities will include: - Defining test strategies for Abacus products, encompassing design, implementation, and maintenance of test cases for functional, end to end, and performance testing. - Defining test suites based on best practices and standards to ensure software quality through continuous testing. - Participating in internal reviews of software components and systems. - Creating and maintaining automation test cases CI/CD pipelines using Python. - Working with complex data applications developed on Azure and AWS platforms. Qualifications we are looking for in a candidate: - 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance of a software platform, preferably a cloud system. - 2+ years of experience in software development. - 2+ years of experience with FHIR databases and standards, including FHIR API testing. - Strong understanding of Software Lifecycle and Quality Assurance processes for manual and automated testing. - Strong knowledge of Azure and AWS platforms. - Knowledge of healthcare standards. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and trouble-shooting skills. - Experience with creating and maintaining frameworks using pytest, junit, or similar. - Experience with Azure and/or AWS platforms. - Experience with Database Systems (MongoDB, SQL, MySQL) and Data Validation. - Familiarity with Microservices architecture, container management, API gateways, and tools like Kubernetes.
