Senior QA Engineer

As a Quality Analyst / Test Engineer at Ginteja Insurance Brokers Private Limited, promoted by Shyam Steel and Sastasundar, your role is crucial in ensuring the highest quality of web and mobile applications. You will be responsible for manual testing, automation testing, test planning & documentation, bug tracking & reporting, cross-platform testing, collaboration, continuous improvement, and performance & load testing to deliver high-performance software. Key Responsibilities: - Execute functional, regression, and integration tests for web and mobile applications - Assist in the development and execution of automated tests - Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts - Identify, log, and track defects in bug tracking systems - Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing - Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders - Suggest improvements to existing testing processes - Conduct performance testing to assess application scalability Primary Skills (Required): - Strong knowledge of manual testing techniques - Experience using test management and reporting tools - Ability to present clear, concise, and actionable testing metrics - Experience with mobile application testing - Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD processes - Handson experience of API testing - Some exposure to Security testing for Web applications Secondary Skills (Preferred): - Hands-on experience with automation testing tools - Experience in performance-Load testing and associated tools - Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field - 5-9 years of experience in software testing for web and mobile applications - Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills - Excellent communication skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment In addition to the job role, as part of the benefits package, you will have access to health insurance, leave encashment, paid sick time, paid time off, and Provident Fund.
