As a QA Analyst at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of Location Strategy projects by maintaining high standards of quality and governance. Your responsibilities will include spearheading the evolution of the digital landscape, driving innovation, and enhancing customer experiences through cutting-edge technology. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate software functionality and ensure adherence to quality standards. - Create and execute automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools to detect defects early in the development process. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to the development of acceptance criteria. - Conduct root cause analysis for identified defects and work closely with developers to support defect resolution. - Engage in peer code reviews and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing. - Stay updated on industry technology trends, contribute to the organization's technology communities, and foster a culture of technical excellence. Qualifications Required: - Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing, TDD & BDD. - Expertise in API test automation with Cucumber and setting up automation for projects with diverse technology stack. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Java/Python. - Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
