As a QA Analyst at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful delivery of Location Strategy projects. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and executing testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, continuously improve testing processes, and ensure software quality and reliability. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate software functionality and ensure compliance with quality standards. - Create and execute automated test scripts, leveraging testing frameworks and tools for early defect detection. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to the development of acceptance criteria. - Conduct root cause analysis for identified defects and work closely with developers to support defect resolution. - Participate in code reviews, promote a culture of code quality, and knowledge sharing. - Stay informed of industry technology trends, contribute to the organization's technology communities, and foster a culture of technical excellence and growth. Qualifications Required: - Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing, TDD & BDD. - Expertise in API test automation with Cucumber. - Proficiency in setting up automation for projects with diverse technology stack. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Java/Python. - Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
