As a Senior QA Automation Engineer at Apply Digital, you will play a critical role in defining and executing the QA automation strategy to ensure high-quality standards for web applications, APIs, and digital experiences. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the development and implementation of test automation frameworks using Playwright - Designing and executing automated test scripts for front-end and backend services - Collaborating with front-end, backend, and DevOps engineers to build scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks - Developing and maintaining end-to-end, regression, API, and performance test suites - Advocating for a shift-left testing approach and working closely with developers to promote best practices in testing - Monitoring and analyzing test results, updating leadership with detailed reports and recommendations - Mentoring junior and intermediate QA engineers to foster a culture of quality and continuous learning Qualifications required for the role include: - Strong proficiency in English (written and verbal communication) - 5+ years of experience in QA automation with a focus on end-to-end testing and automation frameworks - Expertise in Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript - Deep understanding of software QA methodologies, Agile/Scrum development principles, and cloud-based test environments - Experience with API testing tools and front-end/backend testing strategies - Problem-solving skills and experience mentoring other QA engineers Nice to have qualifications include experience with performance testing tools, containerized testing environments, cloud security best practices, visual regression testing tools, headless eCommerce platforms, and testing integrations with various platforms.
