Job Summary:

We are seeking a Python Backend Developer with strong backend engineering expertise and hands-on exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services while collaborating with data scientists and ML engineers to build and deploy intelligent applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python and modern backend frameworks (Django, Flask, or FastAPI).
• Develop and maintain backend services for PDF parsing, and manipulation using Python libraries such as PyPDF2 / pypdf, PDFPlumber, ReportLab, and FPDF.
• Architect and optimize backend systems to handle large-scale datasets and high-performance workloads.
• Work extensively with data processing and automation libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Selenium.
• Integrate and manage relational and NoSQL databases including MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB; optimize queries and database performance.
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to build, integrate, and deploy ML models using libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• Ensure code quality, performance, security, and scalability through best practices, testing, and code reviews.
• Document system architecture, APIs, and development processes for maintainability and team collaboration.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• Minimum 3 to 4 years of relevant industry experience

  in backend development.
• Proven experience working on

  production-grade backend systems

• 3+ years of professional experience

  in Python backend development.
• Strong proficiency in

  Python fundamentals and advanced concepts

• Extensive experience with

  backend frameworks

  such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Strong hands-on experience with

  Pandas

  for data manipulation and processing.
• Solid understanding of

  REST API design principles and microservices architecture

• Experience working with

  SQL and NoSQL databases

  (MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB).
• Practical exposure to

  AI/ML libraries

  such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn, including model integration or deployment.
• Familiarity with

  Git-based version control workflows

• Experience with

  cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)

  and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Good problem-solving skills and understanding of system design concepts.
