Senior Python Developer - Contract job

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer to join our team on a short-term contract basis. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in building, optimizing, and delivering backend systems and APIs for a high-impact project. Responsibilities: Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and DevOps to design and build robust backend systems. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Python code following best practices. Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services. Optimize performance and scalability of applications. Ensure security and data protection across services. Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers if needed. Debug and resolve complex technical issues quickly. Requirements: 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python (Django, Flask, or FastAPI). Strong experience with RESTful API design and integration. Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB. Experience with Docker , Git , and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Self-driven and able to work independently in a remote setting (if applicable). Nice to Have: Experience in data processing , ETL pipelines , or asynchronous programming (e.g., Celery, asyncio). Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React, Vue) for API integration.
