Senior Python & Cloud Engineer

As a Senior Python & Cloud Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable, and secure applications leveraging Python and modern cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Leading the design, development, and implementation of high-performance backend services, APIs, and microservices using Python. - Architecting, deploying, and managing cloud-native applications and infrastructure on major cloud providers, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness. - Working with various database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) to design efficient data models, manage data storage, and optimize query performance. - Designing and implementing comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure application health, performance, and security. Optimizing cloud infrastructure and application code for cost and efficiency. - Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions. - Mentoring junior engineers, contributing to architectural discussions, and driving best practices in software development and cloud operations. The qualifications and skills required for this position include: - Mastery in Python programming with experience in building RESTful APIs (e.g., Flask, Django, FastAPI) and asynchronous programming. - Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their core services. - Strong experience with container technology (Docker/Kubernetes) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes). - Understanding and experience with both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cosmos DB). - Solid understanding and experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and software testing methodologies. - Experience designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure APIs. - Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. - Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts. It is preferred to have an understanding of Generative AI principles, Large Language Models (LLMs), and familiarity with frameworks or APIs for building Gen AI applications. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is required for this role.,
