Senior Project Configuration & Change Manager

As a Configuration and Change Management (CCM) Lead in the Project/Program, your role involves overseeing CCM activities while upholding ethical standards. You will implement standard procedures and ensure team members adhere to them. Representing the CCM Mtier, you will conduct REX for CCM, drive improvements, and participate in project and site meetings. Your responsibilities include enforcing the Configuration Management Plan (CMP) activities and Roles & Responsibilities, utilizing CCM tools, and ensuring compliance with CCM requirements. It is crucial to train functional representatives on CCM, report and escalate issues, and suggest solutions. Monitoring CCM Performance Indicators and implementing actions will be part of your accountability. In addition to conducting CCM audits and DfQ Gates, you may manage a team of Configuration and Change Managers. Contributing to CCM training material development and executing training sessions as needed are also expected. Furthermore, your role entails performing configuration management tasks, preparing Configuration Strategy and release notes, and establishing the Configuration Status Accounting Report (CSAR). Mandatory knowledge of railway products, solutions, systems, and CCM tools is essential. Effective communication with project stakeholders, proficiency in English and German, and a proactive approach to process improvement are key attributes. Leadership skills, the ability to lead Change Boards, prioritize requests, and coordinate CCM professionals are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, training in Configuration and Change Management standards, and strong communication and negotiation skills are vital.
