Key programming areas include promotion of traditional seeds and ecological agriculture, sustainable management of forests and fisheries, climate change adaptation, income generation and effective implementation of the government safety nets, with emphasis on Community Institution building and Gender Mainstreaming.

3. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND COMPETENCIES:

Qualification and Experience

(1) Master’s Degree in a relevant field viz. Development Studies, Demography, Statistics, etc. (A Masters in Statistics, or Economics shall be preferred);

(2) Applicants must have a minimum of five to seven years of experience in the design and implementation of M&E and MIS systems in the development sector;

(3) Knowledge and experience in using mobile based data collection systems;

(4) In-depth knowledge of statistical methods, qualitative and quantitative research methods, data collection, and management;
(5) Prior experience of working on livelihood and gender projects; (6) Strong experience in analysing data and using statistical software

Skills and Competencies

(1) Ability to work with deadlines and deliver quality results on time.

(2) Proven ability to build capacity of NGOs and team members on monitoring and evaluation.

(3) Willingness to travel to field areas, including in remote rural locations and work closely with partner staff

(4) Capacity to work independently and in a team environment.

(5) Flexibility and willingness to multi-task.

(6) Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi. Knowledge of Marathi preferred

The gross remuneration budgeted for the position is attractive and shall be commensurate with the qualifications, experience, and salary history, of the selected candidate.
