Production Merchandiser

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and monitor production timelines to ensure on-time delivery of apparel orders.
• Liaise with suppliers, factories, and internal teams to communicate production requirements and resolve issues.
• Manage production schedules, track order progress, and anticipate potential delays or bottlenecks.
• Conduct quality inspections and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain product standards.
• Negotiate pricing, timelines and terms with vendors to optimize cost efficiency and production outcomes.
• Prepare and analyze production reports to evaluate performance against targets and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations and best practices to enhance production processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Apparel Merchandising, Textile Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in apparel manufacturing, with a focus on production coordination and merchandising.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, materials, and production techniques.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and ERP software.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preferably a candidate from NIFT, NIFD, PEARL or similar institutes.
• Familiarity with sustainability practices in apparel manufacturing.
• Fluency in english both written & verbal.

Working Model: Work-from-office (6 days)

Shift timing: Day shift
