Senior Production Merchandiser

Role Description

Global Base is looking for a Senior Production Merchandiser to manage end to end production across India, China, Indonesia, and Vietnam. The role ensures smooth execution from PPM to final container loading while maintaining quality, timelines, compliance, and clear communication with internal teams and global buyers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage production cycles from PPM to shipment across multi country vendors
• Coordinate with regional teams for inspections, QC, packaging approvals, and timeline tracking
• Ensure POs, vendor documents, PPM reports, and ERP updates are completed accurately
• Oversee inline and final inspections including third party and internal QC
• Monitor weekly production progress and resolve issues or delays proactively
• Align closely with QA and Shipping teams for inspection bookings and timely container loading
• Track artwork, packaging, drop tests, and customer specific requirements
• Maintain clear communication with China office, Indonesia team, Indian factories, and Vietnam QC
• Ensure customer complaints are addressed with corrective actions
• Support vendor payment processes and maintain transparent documentation

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years experience in production merchandising or sourcing for furniture, décor, outdoor, or hard goods
• Strong understanding of PPM, QC, inspections, packaging, and shipment workflows
• Ability to manage multiple POs across different countries
• Excellent coordination, follow up, and communication skills
• Strong time management and problem solving mindset
• Proficiency in Excel, Google Workspace, and production documentation
