Role Overview: You will be responsible for proactively maintaining and developing all Windows/Linux infrastructure technology to ensure a 24x7x365 uptime service. Your role will involve engineering systems administration-related solutions for various project and operational needs, as well as maintaining best practices across all environments. You will be expected to proactively monitor system performance, manage software upgrades, patches, and hot fixes, create and modify scripts or applications, and provide input on improving stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment. Collaboration with other teams to develop automation strategies and deployment processes is also a key aspect of this role. Key Responsibilities: - Proactively maintain and develop Windows/Linux infrastructure technology - Engineer systems administration-related solutions for project and operational needs - Maintain best practices on managing systems and services - Monitor system performance and capacity planning - Manage software upgrades, patches, and hot fixes - Create and modify scripts or applications - Provide input on improving stability, security, efficiency, and scalability - Collaborate with other teams to develop automation strategies and deployment processes - Maintain Windows deployment - Articulate standard methodologies during implementation - Knowledge and expertise of OS clustering, partitioning, and virtualization - Familiarity with Linux scripting languages - Experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining services like Bind, Apache, MySQL, nginx, etc. - Strong grasp on configuration management tools such as Ansible - Familiarity with load balancing, firewalls, etc. - Proficient with network tools like iptables, Linux IPVS, HAProxy, etc. - Experience with virtualization technologies such as Xen, virtual box, VMware, etc. - Build and monitor services on production servers - Knowledge of servers and switches Qualification Required: - Experience Range: 4-8 years - Qualification: B.E/B.Tech Additional Company Details: No additional details provided in the job description.
