Senior Product Manager

As a Senior Product Manager at Bayer, your primary purpose will be to ensure that products enable users to perform tasks that create value for the company. You will play a crucial role in setting the strategic vision for the product, keeping the customer and their needs at the center, and aligning team priorities to support business outcomes for various teams. To excel in this role, you must have a deep understanding of the product domain, related technology, and architecture. Your responsibilities will include: **Product Management:** - Taking accountability for the success of the product throughout its lifecycle. - Identifying domain needs and developing/validating product concepts. - Building a business case for the product and overseeing its build, launch, availability, stability, and compliance. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams including product development, marketing, finance, legal, manufacturing, operations, and sales. - Driving agile best practices for improved delivery and continuous planning. - Conducting market opportunity identification, competitive analysis, sales enablement, and performance monitoring. **Stakeholder Engagement:** - Identifying key stakeholder groups and balancing strong opinions to deliver value. - Building trust by understanding and meeting stakeholder needs. **Product Strategy:** - Providing strategic leadership with end-to-end ownership of products. - Planning and optimizing capabilities to achieve business outcomes efficiently. **Product Discovery & Delivery:** - Creating comprehensive product roadmaps to clarify user needs and requirements. - Tracking progress against outcomes and overall product health. - Managing product delivery and enhancing user experience and business value based on feedback and metrics. **People & Collaboration:** - Communicating and collaborating with product users and stakeholders. - Fostering effective cross-functional collaboration for valuable product delivery. - Maintaining strong relationships with colleagues and mentoring junior product managers. **Requirements:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar field, or equivalent practical experience. - 5+ years of experience as a product manager, including 2+ years with Agile development and DevOps. - Experience in SAP MM as a techno-Functional consultant and SAP Ariba with SAP CIG Integration. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and deep understanding of the software development lifecycle.
