Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Perform account maintenance tasks such as stop payments, address changes, and signature updates.
  • Assist in daily reconciliations of deposit accounts and general ledger entries.
  • Generate and review reports for exceptions, fraud alerts, and compliance monitoring.
  • Respond to queries from branches and customers regarding deposit-related issues.
  • Support frontline staff with operational escalations and training.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines (e.g., Reg D, BSA).
  • Monitor systems for suspicious activity and assist in fraud prevention.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline operations and improve service delivery.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree (preferred in Commerce, Finance, or related field).
  • 2–3 years of experience in banking operations or financial services.
  • Familiarity with banking systems and MS Office tools, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
