Principal Engineer for FluidSeparation and Filtration Systems in Compressors will be responsible for the design,development, and optimization of fluid separation and filtration systems usedin compressor applications. This role involves design and selection of FSF components, ensuring product quality, working on improvement initiatives, and fosteringinnovation. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in pressure vesseldesign, thermodynamics, heat transfer, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), andanalytical methods, along with effective interpersonal skills to work with CFTmembers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and development offluid separation and filtration systems
- Working on analytical calculation,3D modelling, detailing, execution, and completion of projects related tocompressor fluid separation and filtration systems.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including RD, manufacturing, and quality assurance, toensure product specifications and performance standards are met.
- Content preparation for technicalreviews and provide guidance on system design, materials selection, and testingprotocols.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards andregulations.
- Adhering to projecttimelines and working on budgets, ensuring timely delivery of milestones anddeliverables.
- Execute improvement initiatives to enhancesystem performance, reliability, and cost effectiveness.
- Support innovation efforts, introducing newtechnologies and methodologies to improve fluid separation and filtrationsystems.
- Provide technical supportand training to other departments as needed.
- Prepare and present technical reports,proposals, and presentations to management and stakeholders.
- Apply principles of thermodynamics and heattransfer to optimize system performance.
- Design and analyse pressure vessels inaccordance with applicable codes and standards.
- Utilize CFD and analytical methods to design,analyse, and optimize fluid separation and filtration systems.

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. AMasters degree is preferred.
- In depth knowledge of fluid dynamics, filtration,fluid separation technologies and compressor systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software and otherengineering design tools.
- Strong understanding of industry standards andregulatory requirements related to fluid separation and filtration.
- Knowledge of pressure vessel design principlesand relevant codes and standards.
- Understanding of thermodynamics and heattransfer principles.
- Proficiency in computational fluid dynamics(CFD) and analytical methods.
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the fieldof fluid separation and filtration systems, preferably in compressorapplications.
- Proven experience in new product design,development, research on the mechanical systems and software tools
- Demonstrated project management skills with atrack record of successful project delivery.
- Strong problem-solvingskills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Proven track record of driving innovation andcontinuous improvement.
- Experience in managing change effectivelywithin an engineering environment.
