Job Title: Senior Power BI Developer Location: Chennai Job Type: Full-Time Office Role Department: Analytics Reports To: BI Lead Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer to join our Business Intelligence team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building, optimizing, and deploying Power BI dashboards and reports, as well as deep knowledge of data modeling, DAX, and data visualization best practices. This role is critical in transforming data into insights that drive business decisions. Design and develop interactive and user-friendly Power BI dashboards and reports. Create complex DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs to support business requirements. Translate business needs into technical specifications and establish a data model that meets the needs. Optimize existing dashboards and queries for performance improvements. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate data delivery. Develop and maintain Power BI datasets, dataflows, and reports in a secure and scalable manner. Implement row-level security and governance in Power BI Service. Support data analysis needs and ad hoc reporting requests. Provide mentorship and guidance to BI developers and Freshers Expert level SQL experience to analyze data, build and optimize SQL views. Experience building dashboards, data visualization and reporting. Experience building analytics frameworks, designing and automating processes to refresh data for dashboards. Experience building data quality, data reconciliations and integrity checks to investigate and isolate data issues between data sources and BI layer. Experience setting up infrastructure to support BI deployments Experience performing root cause analysis on datasets and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement. Strong business analysis, project management and organizational skills. Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment. Must be proactive, inquisitive and have research mindset. 10+ years of experience in a BI Engineering role, with a degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or another quantitative field. Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience with Oracle, SQL Server Databases. Expert level Full stack Power BI and Tableau experience. Preferred Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools. Preferred experience with Oracle cloud services. Preferred experience with Oracle Fusion ERP, SCM, HCM
