Job Description

Role: Senior Power BI Developer

highly skilled and proactive Power BI Developer

key part in designing, developing, and deploying

Strong Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service experience
Solid DAX skills (time intelligence, context transition, variables, performance optimization)
Advanced Power Query (M) transformations and query folding awareness
Data modeling best practices: star schema, relationships, roles, hierarchies, measures vs columns
Experience with SQL and at least one database (SQL Server, Snowflake, Azure SQL, Redshift, etc.)
Experience deploying to Power BI Service, workspaces, datasets, gateways, row-level security (RLS)
Familiar with versioning/deployment pipelines and basic performance troubleshooting
Visualization best practices & accessibility storytelling, color theory, tooltips, bookmarks
SSAS Tabular good to have

Additional skills

Power BI REST API, automation (PowerShell, CLI)
Python/R for advanced analytics in Power BI
Integrations: Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Teams
