As the Senior Platform DevOps and Security on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the development, deployment, and security of cloud-based infrastructure supporting AI-driven healthcare solutions and AI agents. This role requires someone who can ensure efficient, compliant, and secure software delivery within the highly regulated healthcare environment. Platform Strategy and Roadmap Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for the platform, ensuring alignment with healthcare industry standards and business goals. Foster innovation while ensuring reliability, scalability, and security of AI-driven healthcare solutions. DevOps Practices Implement and maintain automated DevOps processes, tools, and CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment. Optimize DevOps workflows to ensure high availability and compliance with healthcare security standards. Security & Compliance Design, implement, and enforce healthcare-grade security policies and procedures to protect sensitive patient data (e.g., PHI under HIPAA). Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2 Type II, and NIST-CSF security frameworks. Develop and enforce zero-trust security principles across all platform components. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Cloud Expertise Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, or equivalent tools. Leverage GCP services to build a scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud ecosystem. Monitoring, Alerting, & Performance Optimization Establish real-time monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve platform issues Optimize platform performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency to meet healthcare workloads. Skills and Experience: Technical Expertise Cloud Computing: Demonstrated and extensive experience with GCP. Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, App Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, Cloud Datastore, Cloud Pub/Sub, etc. Database : MongoDB or PostgresQL DevOps: Strong knowledge of automated CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes),and automation tools like GitHub, Jenkins, CircleCI, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes. Security: Expertise in cloud security, threat modeling, IAM, and zero-trust architectures. Security Scanner, Cloud Security Command Center, Cloud Armor, Cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM) Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud Deployment Manager. Scripting & Automation: Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) for infrastructure automation. Networking: Understanding of cloud networking, VPNs, and firewall security. Observability: Hands-on experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools. Healthcare-Specific Expertise Deep understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, HITRUST, NIST, and SOC 2. Experience working with healthcare data pipelines, interoperability (FHIR, HL7), and privacy-preserving AI solutions. Knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) processes and challenges. Understanding of healthcare cybersecurity threats and best practices for PHI protection. Leadership & Soft Skills Leadership & Team Building: Proven ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. Qualifications: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field. 4-6+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud architecture, and security roles, preferably within the healthcare or regulated industries. 4-6+ years of leadership experience managing DevOps, security, or cloud engineering teams. Experience working in healthcare AI, health tech startups, or enterprise healthcare IT environments. Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., GCP Professional Cloud Architect, CISSP, CISM, CISA, AWS/GCP Security Specialty). Candidates located in Bangalore will be given preference
